Presentations Day Two

Things I Learned:

Puerto Rico- Have always been ruled by another country. Many cultures and races have impacted the identity crisis in Puerto Rico.

Jamaica- There is gender inequality, poverty, and unsafe sex practices.

Martinique- There are many diseases in this island.

St. Maarten- The split in the island makes it a hub for cultural diversity.

ABC islands-  Each island has its own fun thing to do for the tourists. Aruba is known as the adventure island.

The Bahamas- Columbus enslaved many natives and took their gold.
Comments on power points:

Puerto Rico- Slides contained too much text.

Jamaica- A lot of the slides were unclear. She did not make the slides clear with her statements.

St. Maarten- Facts seemed iffy. A lot of the bullet points were guesses.
